Hexagram 37 is Wind (☴) above Fire (☲) — the image of wind fanning the flame, warmth radiating outward from the hearth. This is the hexagram of family, community, and belonging — the sacred circle where each person has their rightful place and role. The family is the microcosm of society: when the family is in order, the world is in order.
The Mother archetype does not mean only biological motherhood — it is the principle of nurturing, holding, and creating safe space for others to grow.
