Every hexagram in this collection shares the same lower trigram — ☷ Earth (Kun). The lower trigram represents the inner situation: the root energy, what is happening beneath the surface. When that inner root is Earth, the essential quality is always receptivity, nourishment, patient holding, the capacity to carry and transform — regardless of how it expresses outward.
