About Palmarosa
Palmarosa (Cymbopogon martinii) is a tropical grass native to India, cousin to Lemongrass and Citronella. Despite its humble grass origins, it produces one of the most rose-like essential oils in aromatherapy — rich in geraniol, the same compound that gives rose its characteristic sweetness. It has been used for centuries in Indian Ayurvedic medicine and as an adulterant in rose oil due to its remarkable similarity.
