♂ The Tower's Message
Lightning strikes the crown of a tall tower. Two figures fall through the air — a king and a commoner, equal in the fall. The crown is blown off; the false summit is destroyed. Flames pour from the windows. And yet: this is not destruction. This is revelation. The tower was built on a false foundation, and the lightning of truth has come to clear the ground.
Mars's gift is the sword that cuts through illusion. Peh — the mouth — is the word of power that cannot be unsaid, the truth that once spoken changes everything. The Tower does not destroy what is real; it destroys only what was never true. The grace and sin of this card: the fall is terrifying, but the ground you land on is solid.
