Hexagram 35 is Fire (☲) above Earth (☷) — the image of the sun rising over the earth, illuminating all things. This is the hexagram of natural, effortless progress — not the forced advancement of ambition, but the organic unfolding of one who has aligned themselves with the light. The prince is honored not because he sought honor, but because his virtue shines.
The Adventurer does not rush toward the horizon — they become the horizon. Progress here is not about striving but about brightening one's own virtue so that advancement comes naturally, like the sun that rises without effort and illuminates the world simply by being itself.
