Perseverance furthers. When the eighth month comes, there will be misfortune. The earth above the lake: the image of Approach. Approach is a hexagram of great promise — a time when conditions are favourable for drawing near, for advancing, for generous engagement with the world. But it carries a warning: the eighth month, when the tide turns. The wise person does not become complacent in times of growth. They approach with full presence and sensitivity, knowing that every season of expansion contains within it the seed of its own completion.
