♊ Gemini Decans | דקאני תאומים

2 of Swords · 3 of Swords · 4 of Swords

🌬️ 2 of Swords — Lord of Peace Restored

Planet: Moon in Gemini · Decan: 1st Decan of Gemini (0°–10°)

The Moon in Gemini creates a mind caught between two truths. The 2 of Swords is the blindfolded figure, arms crossed, two swords held in perfect balance — a truce, not a resolution. T. Susan Chang & M.M. Meleen describe this as the air that has gone still: the mind that has chosen not to choose, holding opposing thoughts in uneasy equilibrium. Peace restored, but at the cost of sight.

✨ Artemisia Pairing: Serenity Roll-On — Lavender, Bergamot & Neroli · Restful Night Serum — Chamomile, Lavender & Cedarwood

🌬️ 3 of Swords — Lord of Sorrow

Planet: Saturn in Gemini · Decan: 2nd Decan of Gemini (10°–20°)

Saturn's cold weight descends on Gemini's airy mind, piercing the heart with three swords. The 3 of Swords is the most iconic image of grief in the Tarot — yet T. Susan Chang & M.M. Meleen remind us that Saturn in Gemini brings the sorrow of knowing: the mind that has finally understood what the heart already felt. Truth spoken, even when it hurts.

✨ Artemisia Pairing: Kintsugi Roll-On — Emotional Healing · Wabi Sabi Roll-On — Self-Acceptance

🌬️ 4 of Swords — Lord of Rest from Strife

Planet: Jupiter in Gemini · Decan: 3rd Decan of Gemini (20°–30°)

Jupiter brings the gift of perspective to Gemini's restless mind. The 4 of Swords is the knight lying in effigy, three swords on the wall, one beneath — a deliberate retreat from conflict into contemplative rest. T. Susan Chang & M.M. Meleen describe this as the air that has chosen stillness: the mind that knows when to stop fighting and allow wisdom to arrive in silence.

✨ Artemisia Pairing: Nidra Marma Serum — Deep Restoration · Third Eye Chakra Serum — Intuition & Clarity

♎ Libra Decans | דקאני מאזניים

5 of Swords · 6 of Swords · 7 of Swords

🌬️ 5 of Swords — Lord of Defeat

Planet: Venus in Libra · Decan: 1st Decan of Libra (0°–10°)

Venus rules Libra, yet here she is entangled in the aftermath of conflict. The 5 of Swords is the figure gathering swords while others walk away in defeat — a hollow victory, a battle won at the cost of relationship. T. Susan Chang & M.M. Meleen describe this as the air of discord: the mind that has chosen winning over harmony, and must now reckon with what was lost.

✨ Artemisia Pairing: Divine Roll-On — Rose Otto, Ylang Ylang & Geranium · Heart Chakra Serum — Love & Compassion

🌬️ 6 of Swords — Lord of Earned Success

Planet: Mercury in Libra · Decan: 2nd Decan of Libra (10°–20°)

Mercury in Libra brings the mind's gift of transition. The 6 of Swords is the ferryman's boat — a figure and child moving across still water toward calmer shores, six swords standing in the prow. T. Susan Chang & M.M. Meleen describe this as the air of passage: the mind that has processed its storms and now moves, with earned wisdom, toward a better place. Not escape — evolution.

✨ Artemisia Pairing: Energizing Body Serum — Peppermint, Grapefruit, Rosemary & Lemon · Throat Chakra Serum — Communication & Self-Expression

🌬️ 7 of Swords — Lord of Unstable Effort

Planet: Moon in Libra · Decan: 3rd Decan of Libra (20°–30°)

The Moon in Libra creates the trickster's dilemma. The 7 of Swords is the figure tiptoeing away from a camp with five swords, leaving two behind — strategy, stealth, or self-deception? T. Susan Chang & M.M. Meleen describe this as the air of cunning: the mind that operates in half-truths, the effort that cannot be sustained because it is built on unstable ground. The invitation is toward radical honesty.

✨ Artemisia Pairing: Third Eye Chakra Serum — Intuition & Clarity · Serenity Roll-On — Lavender, Bergamot & Neroli

♒ Aquarius Decans | דקאני דלי

8 of Swords · 9 of Swords · 10 of Swords

🌬️ 8 of Swords — Lord of Shortened Force

Planet: Jupiter in Aquarius · Decan: 1st Decan of Aquarius (0°–10°)

Jupiter in Aquarius — the expansive planet in the sign of liberation — creates a painful paradox. The 8 of Swords is the bound and blindfolded figure surrounded by swords, yet the bonds are loose, the path is clear. T. Susan Chang & M.M. Meleen describe this as the air of self-imprisonment: the mind that has the capacity for freedom but cannot yet see it. The restriction is real — and it is also a story the mind tells itself.

✨ Artemisia Pairing: Third Eye Chakra Serum — Intuition & Clarity · Ikigai Roll-On — Life Purpose & Focus

🌬️ 9 of Swords — Lord of Despair and Cruelty

Planet: Mars in Aquarius · Decan: 2nd Decan of Aquarius (10°–20°)

Mars in Aquarius brings the mind's darkest hour. The 9 of Swords is the figure sitting up in bed at midnight, head in hands, nine swords on the wall — the nightmare made waking. T. Susan Chang & M.M. Meleen describe this as the air of mental anguish: the mind turned against itself, the thoughts that wound. Yet Mars also brings the energy to act — the darkness before the dawn that demands we move.

✨ Artemisia Pairing: Nidra Marma Serum — Deep Restoration & Restful Sleep · Restful Night Serum — Chamomile, Lavender & Cedarwood

🌬️ 10 of Swords — Lord of Ruin

Planet: Sun in Aquarius · Decan: 3rd Decan of Aquarius (20°–30°)

The Sun in Aquarius illuminates the final, absolute ending. The 10 of Swords is the figure face-down, ten swords in the back, yet the sky on the horizon is brightening — dawn follows the darkest night. T. Susan Chang & M.M. Meleen describe this as the air of total ruin that paradoxically clears the way: the mind that has been completely defeated can finally stop fighting. The Sun promises: this is the bottom, and from here, only rising.

✨ Artemisia Pairing: Energizing Body Serum — Peppermint, Grapefruit, Rosemary & Lemon · Solar Plexus Chakra Serum — Confidence & Personal Power

🕯️ Working with the Air Decans | עבודה עם דקאני האוויר

To work with a Swords Decan card in aromatherapy ritual: draw the card, identify its planetary ruler, and anoint your temples, third eye, and throat with the corresponding oil. Sit in a place with fresh air if possible — open a window, step outside. Breathe the oil's scent and allow the mental current of the card to move through you without resistance. Journal what the mind reveals.

For deeper work, use the card as a focal point during a full aromatherapy session — diffuse the oil, place the card on your altar, and meditate on the card's question: What truth is my mind avoiding right now?
